The rain is here! Winter is creeping up and potential projects are flooding my thoughts. I guess it would be good to start with a warm wooly hat. Rowan’s #42 was winking at me from the leather ottoman. Drooling over The Rannoch Dress, I finally noticed her Cawdor Hat, a fuzzy little hat with what looked like ear flaps that buttoned up on the sides…just what I needed for a quick rainy day fix. The hat ended up having a flap the entire width of the back that is in fact pinned up with buttons. I love it with the flap down….soft on the neck, kissing the ears! A little antique ribbon tied around the brim would bring it right into Saturday night at the cinema!
